wuddup tho. I’m Jay — a Cape Verdean-American creative director, multi-media + event producer and dj based in Providence, RI.

I’ve done my dj + production work as WHERE’S NASTY and my other creative endeavors as 1-800-CAFE-JAY and DOING NUMBERS LLC.

I co-founded stay silent, a creative company that focuses on producing events, content, design, marketing, and products.

With work spanning across music, multimedia, events, and spaces, notable projects of mine include owning and operating Crib, a venue and nightclub In Providence, RI, the DAY TRILL festival and party series, including LUV U BETTER, HOOKAH KILLED THE DANCE FLOOR, LODI DODI, KIZOMBA IS FOR LOVERS, LATCHKEY, and being a founding member of Trade Pop-Up, a non-profit art and gallery + retail space.
